Volcanic Lavastone
Black lavastone and red lavastone are extrusive igneous stones created by the volcanic activity of Mount Merapi in Central Java, Indonesia. Black lavastone is characterized by its deep natural black color, low porosity, and excellent resistance to weather and environmental factors. In contrast, red lavastone displays unique reddish to brick-brown hues, a pronounced natural texture, and a warmer visual appeal. Both stones have been widely used in construction and architectural applications for generations, including iconic historical sites such as Borobudur and Prambanan Temples, proving their long-lasting strength and resilience to natural elements.
